At Soccer Joe's we offer engaging, fun, developmentally-appropriate soccer programs for families in Fayetteville looking to introduce their children, ages 2-6, to team sports. Our focus on non-competitive, developmentally-appropriate instruction and learning through play means our students learn more while having more fun!
Each of our programs follow the same structure and purpose; to introduce students to the fundamental rules and skills of soccer through non-competitive play and developmentally-appropriate instruction. Each week students will learn new character traits and skills, score goals, and play fun games that emphasize and reinforce their learning.Â
Toddler soccer introduces students to soccer through play. Students will learn how to use their feet (and not their hands!) to dribble and score goals, and how to respect each other and work together.
Tots soccer expands on the rules, skills, and character traits introduced in our Toddler program and focuses on preparing students to participate as part of a team. Tots learn how to change direction and speed with a ball and are introduced to scrimmaging (a real soccer game).
Tykes soccer introduces more advanced techniques and variations of previously learned skills. Students are taught soccer tactics and concepts such as spacing, offense, and defense, with the goal of preparing them for match-play. Each session ends with a scrimmage where students can incorporate their newly learned skills under the guidance of their instructor.
