Born and raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Joe has been playing and coaching soccer for more than 25 years with over a decade of experience working with children. He played four years of varsity soccer at Fayetteville High School and one year of Division III college soccer at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas.

Joe received his Masters degree in Anthropology from San Diego state University in May 2018 and his Early Childhood Education teaching certification in March 2020. He is passionate about education, positive communication, and the important role that sports and physical activity play in children's' physical and social development.
